Soprano Günay Acar received a full scholarship for a 2-year education in the Opera-Vocal Department of Bilkent University’s Music and Performing Arts division. Throughout her training, she pursued vocal studies with State Artist Suna Korad and Romanian artist Dan Constantine Serbac. In 2004, she joined the Opera Chorus Department of Ankara University State Conservatory and graduated as an honor student in 2008 after completing a 4-year undergraduate program. Following that, she earned the opportunity to work on Concert Singing with Prof. Dora Kutschi Doceva in the city of Feldkich, Austria. For many years, Acar has provided soprano vocals for TV series, films, documentaries, and music. In recent years, she released her self-composed song titled “Bekleyiş“ as a single in March 2020, which was featured in the ATV series Elveda Rumeli. She performed the album “Aşk Sohbetleri“ by Hadi Asitanelioğlu Tangos.

Additionally, she collaborated with Cem Adrian in the spring of 2021 for the song “Pervane,“ written and composed by Özdemir Erdoğan. Completing her Master’s thesis in the Music Department of Okan University, Acar explored the topic of “The Positive Effects of Vocal Training on Human Emotional State,“ which was the first research of its kind worldwide. Through statistical evidence, she proved the positive impact of vocal training and contributed it to the academic literature. Apart from her musical endeavors, Acar also serves as a vocal coach and instructor for renowned singers and actors, including the legendary Ajda Pekkan. Holding a diploma in International Music Therapy, she conducts voice training, vocal lessons, and therapy practices at Dr. Voice Clinic, owned by Prof. Dr. İsmail Koçak. Acar has performed concerts both domestically and internationally. In July 2023, she will present her groundbreaking new album project, which is set to be a unique and unparalleled musical experience.

n July 2023, her album titled “Ancient Arias with Turkish Instruments“ by DMC Music production took its place on all local and global platforms. The songs in the album are from the works of the Baroque period and the songs are accompanied by various eastern instruments covering the Classical period, Neoclassical period and Romantic period corresponding to the Baroque Period. She gave a singing concert at the Republic Reception organized by Ali İhsan İzbul, Consul General of Dusseldorf on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of our Republic. In addition to her work as an artist, she works at Dr. Voice Clinic, owned by Prof. Dr. İsmail Koçak, a specialist in voice ENT sws. She continues to work as an amateur professional and many famous singers, actors, voice trainer and vocal coach. Performed in concert at DasDas Box on November 14. Conducted an advanced-level workshop at BTMK Turkish Music Conservatory in Berlin between December 15–18. On December 26, gave a Christmas concert at Aya Kiryaki Church as part of the Ancient Arias with Turkish Instruments project; Ecumenical Patriarch Patriarch Bartholomew honored the concert with his presence. On February 25, performed the “Ancient Arias with Turkish Instruments” concert at Istanbul Naval Museum. On March 18, appeared as the soloist of The Maqam Project concert. Between April 13–15, organized a beginner-level workshop at BTMK Turkish Music Conservatory in Berlin and subsequently performed as a guest artist in two concerts held afterwards. On May 9, performed as the soloist at the 30th anniversary gala night of the Turkish-German Business Association.
